Isabella Benshimol x paloma wool is a collaboration with designer paloma wool. Through this collaboration, we created wearables that pose questions about intimacy, ephemeral actions, gestures, and sensations of everyday domestic life. In my practice, I talk about the body through the absence of it, and through this collaboration, I’ve been able to turn things around and see my practice from a different perspective. The capsule was launched as a site-specific installation at an unused apartment in the Milanese city centre, Brera. The presentation included a selection of sculptures made for the occasion using the garments we designed frozen in time with epoxy resin and a selection of past framed works by the artist Sketches.
